Master's Program with Thesis
A master's program with thesis consists of at least 120 ECTS credits in total, including at least eight courses, provided that the total is not less than 60 ECTS credits, including the seminar course, and compulsory specialization field course and thesis work, provided that the total is not less than 60 ECTS credits. In addition to these eight courses, it is compulsory to take at least one course covering the subjects of Scientific Research Techniques and Research and Publication Ethics during graduate education.
The seminar course, specialization field course, and thesis work are evaluated with the letter grade of "Successful" (YT) or "Unsatisfactory" (YZ). No more than 60 ECTS credits of courses can be taken in one semester.
For a student to be considered successful, they must receive a letter grade of "Successful" (YT), CC, or above in all the courses they have taken and achieve a minimum GPA of 2.50.
Non-Thesis Master's Program
A non-thesis master's program consists of at least 10 courses, provided that the total is not less than 60 ECTS credits, and a term project course. The student must register for the term project course in the semester in which it is taken and submit a written report at the end of the semester. The term project course is non-credit and is evaluated with the letter grade of "Successful" (YT) or "Unsatisfactory" (YZ). No more than 60 ECTS credits of courses can be taken in one semester.
Doctoral
The doctoral program for a student admitted with a master's degree with thesis consists of at least 240 ECTS credits in total, including at least eight courses, one of which is a seminar course, provided that the total is not less than 60 ECTS credits, the proficiency exam and thesis proposal, and specialization field course and thesis work, provided that the total is not less than 180 ECTS credits; for a student admitted with a bachelor's degree, it consists of at least 300 ECTS credits in total, including at least 15 courses worth at least 120 ECTS credits, one of which is a seminar course, the proficiency exam and thesis proposal, and specialization field course and thesis work, provided that the total is not less than 180 ECTS credits.
No more than 60 ECTS credits of courses can be taken in one semester in the doctoral program.
For a student to be considered successful, they must receive a letter grade of "Successful" (YT), CC, or above in all the courses they have taken and achieve a minimum GPA of 3.00.
Proficiency In Art
The proficiency in art program for a student admitted with a master's degree with thesis consists of at least 240 ECTS credits in total, including at least eight courses, one of which is a seminar course, provided that the total is not less than 60 ECTS credits, the proficiency exam and thesis proposal, and specialization field course and works such as thesis with applications, exhibition, project, recital, concert, and performance, provided that the total is not less than 180 ECTS credits; for a student admitted with a bachelor's degree, it consists of at least 300 ECTS credits in total, including fifteen courses worth at least 120 ECTS credits, one of which is a seminar course, the proficiency exam and thesis proposal, and specialization field course and works such as thesis with applications, exhibition, project, recital, concert, and performance, provided that the total is not less than 180 ECTS credits.
No more than 60 ECTS credits of courses can be taken in one semester in the proficiency in art program.
For a student to be considered successful, they must receive a letter grade of "Successful" (YT), CC, or above in all the courses they have taken and achieve a minimum GPA of 3.00.
